Grad-Link is a leading recruitment solution for graduates and agricultural employers alike.
Grad-Link is the agricultural sector’s leading graduate program - designed to match the skills and aspirations of the nation’s best graduates with the needs of leading agricultural and agribusiness employers.
Employers from sectors including agricultural R&D, agricultural inputs, marketing, commodity risk management and finance use Grad-Link to access graduates with the passion and skills necessary for a successful career in agriculture.
Employers who participate in the Grad-Link program know it can get them the best candidates while graduates know the program provides them with access to the best companies and the best opportunities. Each year Grad-Link brings together over 250 graduates to meet with more than 25 leading local and global agribusinesses, government departments, financial institutions and supply chain participants.
Grad-Link gives graduates the opportunity to learn more about potential agriculture employers before entering the workforce while potential employers can assess graduates on their ability and potential.
Participants first take part in campus information sessions around the start of the academic year and students are then selected to meet with potential employers at forums around the country held in the second half of the academic year.
Employers can then make selection decisions having assessed key attributes like general agribusiness knowledge and experience, development potential, communication skills and importantly having the right attitude necessary for a successful career in agribusiness.
Graduates can be secure in the knowledge they have got their career in agriculture off to a flying start.
Grad-Link has just completed its fifth program and in 2009 has an even better program ready to launch.
