The Company
SLTEC Fertilizers and Omya Australia have partnered to bring AquaLIME™️ to the Australian market, a liquid lime solution focused on soil improvement, nutrient uptake, and long-term farming productivity.

Following extensive research and field validation, the focus is now on broader market adoption across key broadacre regions throughout Southeast Australia.

The Opportunity
This is a commercially focused market development opportunity centred on building the bulk market for AquaLIME™️ across Southeast Australia.

Sitting within a joint venture between SLTEC Fertilizers and Omya Australia, the position combines the backing of two established businesses with the autonomy to grow a developing product category across the South Eastern Seaboard of Australia.

Working closely with growers, agronomists, dealers, and distribution partners, the focus is on building relationships, identifying opportunities, supporting product adoption, and driving commercial growth across the territory.

Technical support exists internally, however credibility in front of customers and confidence engaging in practical agronomic discussions will be important.

Key responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Drive market development and sales growth across the territory
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Support field trials alongside technical and R&D teams
  • Deliver product presentations and customer engagement activities
  • Maintain regular customer contact through on-farm visits and industry events
  • Monitor market activity and competitor movements
About You
You are likely already working within agricultural sales, agronomy, or commercial market development and enjoy working closely with customers and industry stakeholders.

You are comfortable working autonomously, managing a territory, and balancing commercial objectives with practical on-farm engagement.

Deep technical expertise in lime or soil chemistry is not essential. The business is looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, credibility with growers and dealers, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Background
  • Experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, business development, or related sectors
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Southeast Australia
  • Strong communication, presentation, and territory management skills
  • A practical and self-driven approach
  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, business, or a related field will be well regarded
Candidates may be based across regional Victoria, including Shepparton, Tongala, Echuca, Bendigo or Geelong, provided they are comfortable travelling throughout the territory.

Why This Role?
  • Autonomy and ownership across a developing market segment
  • Combination of commercial responsibility, technical collaboration, and industry engagement
  • Competitive salary package including incentives and a fully maintained vehicle
  • Long-term opportunity within a growing area of the agricultural inputs market
