Our client is an established rural service provider operating as a subsidiary of a successful global Agribusiness. With a successful track record of working with its stakeholders, they have built a strong reputation for providing quality products and services to their customer base. As their business develops, they are now seeking a Business Manager to build on existing strengths and lead the business into its next stage of growth.
The Position
The Business Manager is an autonomous role responsible for the daily management of an established team and will oversee the operational and commercial performance of multiple sites in regional Victoria. Leading a management team of both sales and operational site specialists, the focus of this role will be the profitable, safe and efficient delivery of both bulk and packaged products to customers.
Operating within a broader strategic framework, key responsibilities include budget development, P&L control, and direct accountability for the performance of all commercial activities. An important aspect of this role is strategy development, timely execution, and overall proactive team leadership.
The Person
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A proven business management background, ideally in agribusiness and/or bulk materials handling
- Experience managing a multi-site business.
- Demonstrated experience in generating and maintaining a strong customer base and fostering a service-oriented culture.
- A track record of driving improvement initiatives to grow business and profitability
- Strong WHSE knowledge and compliance leadership skills to meet Company requirements.
