The Opportunity
With business continuing to grow in Qld and NSW, they are now looking to expand into the southern agricultural markets and states of Australia, with the appointment of a new role - Business Manager – Vic and Tas.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business and sales into the region through the reseller network and supplying them with solutions from a wide and increasing product range.
This includes being responsible for managing:
- Product Sales.
- Reseller relationships.
- Product portfolio.
- Warehousing and Logistics.
- Company finances and assets.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Optimally 5 years’ experience in agricultural sales or marketing.
- Experience with budgets and forecasting.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in agricultural science/economics/business or related field experience / knowledge.
You will have a strong belief in forming close, open relationships as an essential part of successful business. Additionally, because the role is developing business in Victoria and Tasmania, it is preferable that you will be familiar with the area, along with the region’s agricultural production practices.
