Acting as the primary conduit between Australian production capabilities and global demand, the successful candidate will design "forward-sold" sales strategies, engineer carcass value to ensure every cut reaches its highest-yielding channel and strictly govern the financial viability of new export products.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

 The Person:

We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following knowledge & experience, key skills & competencies:

  • Understanding of meat carcass break-down, yields, and how specification changes impact total value
  • High level understanding of meat specific trade barriers, tariffs, protocols and cold chain logistics
  • Deep understanding of the relationship between raw material costs, conversion costs, and finished goods pricing
  • Advanced capability in system proficiency for forecast uploads, order entry and data management
  • Ability to analyse market pricing, market insights, and product specifications to support decision making of market and channel to ensure revenue maximisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills for pricing negotiations and resolving sensitive customer delivery or claims issues
  • Competence in managing complex logistics and multi-channel responsibilities (export, foodservice or passthrough) under tight weekly timelines
  • Meticulous approach to recording PO details and aligning manual order amendments with customer requests.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join the Woolworths group with a shared purpose ‘to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow’. You will be supported in a dynamic, inclusive and empowering workplace with a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work, and future opportunities across the group to further grow your career and make a meaningful impact.
