Now in a key time of industry development, an opportunity has presented for a Divisional Manager to lead the horticulture business division.

About The Position:

The Divisional Manager, Horticulture will manage a dedicated team which delivers inputs and advisory services in soil testing, crop protection and crop nutrition. This will involve one-on-one people and team development and leading by example in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships across the state.
As part of this, the Divisional Manager will take oversight of industry engagement (including technical presentations), corporate business development, P+L management, team development and logistics. It is envisioned that they will work closely with the CEO and the broader executive function, to formulate, develop and execute the ongoing strategic plan for the business unit.

About The Person:

To be successful in this position, candidates will require the following:
  • Proven team management experience
  • A successful work history gained in the horticulture sector
  • An active network in the Australian agribusiness sector
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Time management and communication skills
  • High levels of career motivation
  • A willingness to travel as needed
