The Role
This position reports directly to the Executive Director (ED) and supports them and other key members of the executive team and CRDC Board. You will provide a wide variety of support across the office, with primary responsibility to offer tailored support and assist the ED in all matters relating to the executive office.

Responsibilities include managing access to and screening calls and communications, managing executive calendars, optimizing complex travel requirements, planning meetings and taking minutes, office management duties and playing a key role with site visitors and planned events.
Furthermore, duties include:
  • Act as the point of contact for the ED: calendar, phone and email management
  • Schedule and coordinate ED, executive, Board and Committee meetings and take minutes
  • Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements on behalf of ED, executive and Board, and the full CRDC team as required.
  • Oversee all office management activities including building and vehicle maintenance
  • Oversee CRDC’s WHS, supported by CRDC’s contracted resource
The Person
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • You are highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and used to ‘managing up’.
  • You have prior experience working well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • You are highly ethical and understand the importance of confidentiality
  • As expected you will have advanced level in Microsoft Office, excellent internet research skills, and be highly skilled at systems, processes, structure
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines
  • Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
