The Company
Riverina Oils is a leading Australian agribusiness and vertically integrated canola oil producer with a major crushing and refining facility in Wagga Wagga and a commercial head office in Melbourne. The business supplies high-quality Australian canola oil to domestic and export markets and produces premium meal for livestock and feed customers, with a reputation for strong grower relationships, quality and end-to-end supply chain capability.

The Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will plan and coordinate contracts, shipments and stock to deliver Riverina Oils’ export program safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate containers, freight and export documentation in line with production schedules and customer requirements, while maintaining accurate records and reconciling supply chain costs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Plan export movements and coordinate container bookings, releases and freight
  • Prepare accurate export documentation and liaise with customers, overseas offices and service providers
  • Support production planning and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Enter orders and costs, reconcile invoices and monitor potential delivery issues
  • Support Chain of Responsibility, safety, food safety and GMP compliance
  • Negotiate freight rates and contribute to supply chain improvements
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have experience working within a similar position or similar grains business and be looking to further develop your career within the sector. Tertiary qualifications in an agricultural or related field is desirable, however experience and knowledge within the grains, logistics, supply chain or export administration sector will be beneficial.

You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and enjoy working as part of a close knit, fast paced team environment. You will naturally be a problem solver and be able to multi-task with a high attention to detail.
