The Company
Established in 1993, Agsafe is the not-for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of CropLife Australia and is Australia's leading agricultural chemical stewardship organisation.
Agsafe works in partnership with industry to promote the safe handling, transport, storage and responsible management of agricultural and veterinary (AgVet) chemicals across Australia.
In July 2026, Agsafe launched its new Agsafe Industry Standards
—a modern, nationally consistent certification framework that sets the benchmark for the safe storage, handling and transport of AgVet chemicals. These standards are now being implemented across hundreds of agricultural retail and distribution sites nationwide, with assessments conducted by Agsafe's experienced Stewardship Field Officers located throughout Australia.
Complementing this work, Agsafe also delivers nationally recognised safety training programs, operates Australia's leading product stewardship initiatives including drumMUSTER, ChemClear and bagMUSTER, and supplies a wide range of safety equipment and resources through the Agsafe Online Shop.
Agsafe is an organisation committed to continual improvement, industry collaboration and helping create safer workplaces across Australian agriculture.
