The Role
Continuing their growth, the company has evolved and are refining their supply chain. They are now seeking a General Manager – Supply Chain
to join the leadership team.
You will be accountable for developing strategies, leading initiatives and running the day-to-day operations across the sourcing, storing and logistics teams. With your guidance, these high functioning and well-established teams are ready to go to the next level, involving collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities include:
- People and Team leadership
- Strategic planning
- Supply Chain operations
- Procurement
- Supplier engagement
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated leadership managing high performing teams
- 7+ years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or category management roles
- Experience in inventory and logistics systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial controls
- High level negotiation, stakeholder engagement and supplier management skills
- Ideally experience in agribusiness, chemical or FMCG sectors
