The Role
As a Technical Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales efforts and providing exceptional technical support to customers and distributors. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, offering solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. You should be able to develop an excellent connection with new and existing clients by sharing technical information and building confidence in our client’s solutions. Reporting to the National Sales Manager and supporting the Territory Sales Manager, this will involve:
- Assisting with on-farm demonstrations, field days, and trial activities
- Providing technical support to customers
- Data management of trial/field results and customer feedback
- Assisting in the preparation of technical documents, promotional materials, and product training sessions
- Working closely with technical, sales, and marketing teams to deliver field support
- Regular travel to visit customers and attend trial sites
To secure this exciting opportunity, candidates will require the following:
- A connection with Australian agronomy
- A desire to work in an exciting expanding business
- High levels of motivation and excellent communications skills
- Qualifications in agribusiness, agricultural science, agronomy or rural technology (highly regarded)
- Reliability, strong organisational skills and accountability
- A willingness to travel as needed (overnight)
