The Role
Reporting to the WA State Manager, the role focuses on growing and servicing a defined customer base throughout key horticultural regions in Western Australia. You will be responsible for promoting their extensive vegetable seed range, developing sales opportunities, and supporting their growers and distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with growers, commercial nurseries and resellers.
- Promote the company’s commercial vegetable seed portfolio across multiple crop categories.
- Execute territory sales plans and work to achieve defined sales targets.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Represent the business professionally at industry events and field days.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
The Person
We are interested in speaking to you if you possess the following key skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field (or relevant industry experience). This role would be open to graduate candidates or candidates looking to leverage their studies into a role in the Horticultural sector.
- Background in sales, horticultural studies, or the seed industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own schedule.
- Comfortable with regular travel within WA, including overnight stays as required.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and legal right to work in Australia
