The Company:
Rimanui Farms (Australia) Limited Partnership is a privately owned, intergenerational business with large-scale cropping and livestock operations in Tasmania and northern NSW. Since 1996, the business has brought together long-term land development, strong financial backing, and a hands-on, values-driven culture. Rimanui is widely known for its commitment to sustainable farming, operational excellence, and fostering the long-term professional growth of its people.

The Position:
Based in our Sydney office, the newly created position of HR & Safety Administrator will be responsible for the efficient administration of Human Resources, Payroll, and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) functions across the Rimanui Farms Australia Group. Reporting to the Executive Team, this critical role ensures our workforce is supported, compliant, and paid accurately while maintaining an uncompromised commitment to a safe workplace.

This position requires an organised and highly diligent administrator who can seamlessly coordinate corporate workplace systems with regional farming aggregations. You will work closely with the General Manager, CFO, and Aggregation Managers to maintain complete personnel records, manage end-to-end payroll, track training compliance, and administer our WHS Management System. Crucial to success in this role is the ability to balance strict legislative compliance (Fair Work and WHS) with an approachable, supportive manner when handling employee, insurer, and regulatory relationships.

The Person:
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following skills, experience, and key attributes:
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and HR administration, with a solid understanding of Fair Work obligations, modern awards, and employment contracts
  • Demonstrated experience in WHS coordination, including maintaining incident/hazard registers, tracking corrective actions, and managing contractor compliance
  • Prior experience or strong capability in handling corporate workers' compensation claims administration and coordinating return-to-work programs
  • High level of proficiency in managing confidential employee information and maintaining pristine, audit-ready personnel files
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines and reporting timelines across different areas of the business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to support managers remotely and liaise professionally with external legal, industrial relations, and safety advisors
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills; prior exposure to Xero and digital WHS platforms is highly regarded
  • Experience working within agriculture, primary production, logistics, or an aligned regional sector is desirable but not essential
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a high-impact, dual-function compliance role within a stable, well-capitalised agricultural group that is deeply focused on people, safety, and long-term sector excellence.

An excellent remuneration package tailored to experience is on offer for the successful candidate. For a confidential discussion or further information please call Charles MacCallum on 1300 380 701. Applications via www.rimfireresources.com.au
