Harmony Agriculture & Food Company is a leading producer and supplier of premium branded beef to global markets. Their current supply chains produce 5,000t each year of branded Wagyu beef for sale and distribution to global markets. Harmony’s core capabilities lie in intensive livestock production and the sales and marketing of premium beef products.
They are a dynamic, energetic agribusiness with exciting plans for growth and currently have an opportunity for a Junior Production Planner to join their Melbourne-based team. This role will provide hands-on exposure across production planning, inventory management, order allocation and load-out coordination within a high-quality branded beef business.
The Position
Working closely with the team, your role will support production planning, inventory accuracy and customer fulfilment. This will include:
- Maintaining production plans, production advice documents and load-out schedules.
- Monitoring production outputs, inventory records and stock-on-hand accuracy.
- Allocating stock to customer orders and supporting timely fulfilment.
- Liaising with cold stores, logistics providers and internal teams.
- Preparing yield, stock valuation and inventory reporting as required.
We are keen to hear from you if you possess:
- Experience in production, demand, supply or inventory planning, ideally within food, red meat or agriculture.
- Strong attention to detail with sound analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with systems and data.
- Excellent communication skills to work across sales, processor, logistics and cold storage stakeholders.
- A practical, organised approach and genuine interest in the red meat sector.
