The Company

Our client operates an extensive and strategically important supply chain spanning receival, storage, handling and export infrastructure across regional Western Australia. As part of its continued investment in network capability, our client is seeking a Lead, Project Delivery to support the successful delivery of capital and asset management projects across its operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Lead, Project Delivery will play a key role in the planning and delivery of capital projects and maintenance programs across the operations network. Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers, the position will provide technical, planning and execution support across all phases of project delivery.

This role will support the development of detailed scopes of work, project plans, business cases, procurement packages, schedules, risk assessments and commissioning activities. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

A key focus of the role will be identifying and managing project risks and opportunities, supporting contract administration activities, facilitating design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Project Delivery Group. The position also supports project controls activities including forecasting, cost management, scheduling and reporting.

The Lead, Project Delivery will work within established governance frameworks while actively contributing to a culture focused on safety, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will ideally possess:
  • Work experience in the civil infrastructure and/or agribusiness sectors
    Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management
  • Experience delivering capital projects
  • Sound understanding of project planning, estimating, scheduling, cost control and risk management
  • Experience with contracts, procurement strategies and contractor management
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • An ongoing commitment to safety
