The Company:
Riverina Oils is a leading Australian agribusiness and vertically integrated canola oil producer with a major crushing and refining facility in Wagga Wagga and a commercial head office in Melbourne. The business supplies high-quality Australian canola oil to domestic and export markets and produces premium meal for livestock and feed customers, with a reputation for strong grower relationships, quality and end-to-end supply chain capability.

The Opportunity:
This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing Riverina Oils’ logistics strategy across domestic and export channels. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the General Manager – Trading & Risk, you will lead the logistics team and work closely with commercial, operations and production stakeholders to deliver efficient, customer-focused and commercially aligned supply chain outcomes.

You will:
  • Lead sales and operations planning, including forecasting, inventory and on-time delivery.
  • Optimise domestic and export logistics across oil, meal and seed movements.
  • Manage freight and carrier partners to improve service, cost and reliability.
  • Lead continuous improvement, compliance and team performance across the logistics function.
About You:
You are an experienced logistics or supply chain leader with a background in complex domestic and export operations, ideally within agribusiness, commodities or food manufacturing. You bring strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management capability and a track record of improving service, efficiency and team performance as well as strong planning knowledge working with a key production asset. You will be comfortable working in a role that requires hands-on support at times, being able to step into the scheduler’s role to both support and mentor team members. You will bring your commercial and analytical skills, as well as proven leadership skills and ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
