The Company
Our client is a respected Australian veterinary pharmaceutical company, specialising in the manufacture and distribution of high-quality products that support animal health.

With a collaborative culture and high-performing teams, they value accuracy, integrity, and insightful decision-making to drive results across all areas of the business.

The Role
Our client is seeking a Management Accountant who wants to do more than crunch numbers. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll analyse, report, and guide decisions as part of a small and highly committed team. This role is about influence as much as spreadsheets.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Produce accurate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
  • Analyse company performance and highlight what matters
  • Identify problems and make recommendations management can act on
  • Conduct departmental audits and improve financial processes
  • Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and other accounting operations
  • Optimise financial systems and tools
  • Translate financial data so non-financial colleagues understand

About You
You handle detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You lead people with clarity, keep workloads structured, and speak in a way that helps others make decisions.

A CA or CPA qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience in a manufacturing environment is also valued, though not mandatory.

You’ll also bring:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tools, and financial systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • High proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Why Join Their Team?
Your work will be visible. The business depends on clean reporting and strong analysis, and the person in this role becomes a key reference point across departments.

You’ll be based in a beautiful country office, part of a fast-growing business where your contributions genuinely shape outcomes. The commute is straightforward, with no parking stress, making your workday smoother from start to finish.

Clear progression exists for someone who performs well, with the potential to move into a more senior finance or management position within two to three years.
