The Opportunity
As National Stockfeed Manager you will manage the stockfeed sales team that are strategically located across key markets in regional NSW and have responsibility for all domestic feeds manufactured at Manildra’s Flour Mills and Nowra facility.
The sale and logistics of Stockfeed is a critical part of the efficient running of the business with a product range that includes dried distilled grains and blended feeds targeting Beef, Dairy and Lamb production as well as mill mix (wheat bran and pollards) consumed by compound feed manufacturers, swine, poultry, beef and dairy producers.
The stockfeed product range supplies to customers across diverse end user markets across Eastern Australia and involves meeting daily production targets and related income streams, working closely with a variety of stakeholders in the business, including senior management, production plant management, logistics planning schedulers and key accounts to ensure the smooth flow of stockfeed products from production location customer delivery.
About You
We are seeking a strategic, commercially orientated leader who possesses the following background, key skills and attributes:
- Leadership experience overseeing a commercial business unit, with demonstrated experience targeting beef, dairy and lamb production end users
- An intimate knowledge of the Australian stockfeed sector and exposure to grain supply chains domestically, with experience selling to diverse markets
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, ideally with experience working a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across production, farming and corporate environments
- Experience leading, coaching and managing a geographically diverse team, both domestically and internationally to build the right team and shape company culture
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
