The Role
Based in their Melbourne Head Office, this role supports the end-to-end operational coordination of bulk fertiliser imports and domestic supply across the Australian network. Working closely with the Head of Operations and internal/external stakeholders, you will help ensure product is moved safely, efficiently, and in line with customer commitments.
- Coordinate execution of inbound shipments, receivals and deliveries across ports, storage and customers.
- Liaise with shipping agents, transport providers, warehouses and inspection providers to align schedules and documentation.
- Monitor inventory movements, track variances and maintain accurate operational records and reporting.
- Support contract and nomination administration, including key shipment and logistics documentation.
- Assist with issue resolution across the supply chain, escalating risks and constraints as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes to deliver best-in-class service to farming customers.
You are an agile, proactive operations coordinator with experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping and/or commodities, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and stakeholder communication are critical. You bring a customer-first mindset, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience coordinating transport, warehousing and/or import/export documentation (bulk or agri commodities advantageous).
- Strong planning skills with the ability to track multiple moving parts and meet time-critical deadlines.
- Clear communicator who can build effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers and service providers.
- High attention to detail with confident systems capability (Excel/ERP experience beneficial).
- Calm, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
