The Company
Our client is an established agricultural business supplying high-quality products, technical expertise and practical support to farmers, rural retailers and industry partners across Australia. With a strong commitment to research, innovation and customer outcomes, the business offers an extensive portfolio of proven products supported by an active pipeline of new solutions. A collaborative culture, respected market presence and commitment to sustainable agricultural productivity underpin its continued growth.

The Role
This autonomous, field-based position will be responsible for managing an established, and further developing, an important Southern Queensland territory. The region offers flexibility around location and may suit candidates based across the Darling Downs, Toowoomba, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast or surrounding agricultural areas.

You will build trusted relationships with rural retailers, producers, agronomists, consultants and industry groups, combining agronomic support with disciplined territory and business development. Working with an established portfolio and new product pipeline, you will identify the right product fit for local farming systems, support customers with practical technical advice and create sustainable commercial growth.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and executing territory plans to achieve sales, margin and growth objectives
  • Managing and expanding relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
  • Providing practical agronomic, product and farm-system support to retailers, advisers and producers
  • Positioning existing and new products within local pasture, forage and mixed farming systems
  • Coordinating field demonstrations, retailer training, industry events and other promotional activities
  • Monitoring seasonal conditions, customer needs, competitor activity and market opportunities
  • Maintaining effective territory planning, customer records, reporting and market intelligence
  • Collaborating with technical, sales and marketing colleagues to deliver strong customer outcomes
The Person
This opportunity will suit a commercially minded agricultural professional who enjoys working with customers, translating technical information into practical recommendations and taking ownership of a territory. You may already be working in agronomy, agricultural sales, rural retail, farm advisory, account management, product development or a related customer-facing role.

Experience across pasture, forage, seed, livestock production, cropping or broader farm inputs would be valuable, but candidates with strong transferable agricultural knowledge and the ability to build credibility with producers and channel partners are encouraged to apply. Formal qualifications in agriculture, agronomy, science or business will be well regarded but are not essential where supported by relevant industry experience.

You will bring:
  • A sound understanding of agriculture and the ability to learn and communicate technical product information
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and influencing skills
  • A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach
  • The confidence to work independently while contributing to a geographically dispersed team
  • Good territory planning, time management and follow-through
  • A willingness to travel regularly throughout Southern Queensland
  • Current Australian work rights and a valid driver’s licence
On Offer
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established and strategically important territory with the backing of a respected agricultural business, a strong product portfolio and experienced technical and commercial colleagues.

A competitive salary package will be offered, including a fully maintained vehicle, phone and laptop, together with flexibility around where you are based within the region.

To discuss this opportunity confidentially, please contact Ryan Hoiberg at Rimfire Resources on 1300 380 701, or apply with your current resume and a brief outline of your relevant experience.
