The Opportunity

Grains Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to help keep its business operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on and trusted role for an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys taking ownership, coordinating across the business and following matters through to completion.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide high-quality administration and coordination support across facilities, IT, projects, travel, meetings and general business operations. This is a fulltime, permanent, office-based position, with some level flexibility e.g. school drop-offs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track property and facilities maintenance requests through to resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and provide clear updates on support activities
  • Provide coordination support to projects and business units, including document preparation, reporting inputs and action tracking
  • Support calendars, meetings and general administration to enable efficient day-to-day operations
  • Support complex international travel arrangements
  • Support workplace health and safety documentation and action tracking
  • General office management and coordination duties
The Person
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior administration or coordination role
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail with reliable follow-through
  • Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
  
* Experience coordinating facilities, property, travel or external service providers will be highly regarded.
