The Position
Reporting to the Country Manager of MacDon Australia, the Territory Manager will be responsible for managing Western Australia and South Australia’s dealer wholegoods sales territory, providing dealer and customer feedback, growing sales volume and market share for long term sustainability.
You will:
- Work closely with dealers and customers to generate sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction of products.
- Organize and assist dealers in conducting customer clinics and open houses to promote the sale of MacDon products.
- Conduct technical product presentations and product demonstrations to dealers, customers, and prospects.
- Plan, organize and participate at regional farm shows, dealer meetings and field training programs.
- Attend field related activities and other industry functions as required.
- Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to facilitate effective support and product development where possible.
We would be interested in speaking to candidates that possess the following skills:
- A passion for agricultural equipment and experience working in a sales role related to the industry.
- Experience in a role covering a large territory, requiring regular travel and extensive dairy management to maximise time in field.
- Experience working in a farming or agronomic role would be beneficial, to assist with communication at an end user level.
- Excellent problem solving, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced communication and organisational skills, including an ability to present at field days or industry events.
- Someone that can work autonomously and self manage themselves, whilst working with a broad number of internal stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
