The Role
Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role is central to the day-to-day coordination of transport operations. You will be responsible for scheduling and allocating trucks in line with customer requirements and National Fatigue Laws, while working closely drivers and the broader transport administration team.
This is a highly engaged, detail-driven role where no two days are the same. You will liaise closely with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure orders are planned, communicated and delivered efficiently. There is also scope to contribute to improving systems, processes and transport outcomes as the business continues to evolve.
The Person
You may already be working in a transport scheduling or logistics coordination role, and ideally you would have a passion for the grain industry and/or Australian agriculture. You may even come from a broader agricultural background with a different skill set, and be ready to step into a more specialised scheduling position.
We would be open to speaking with you if you match the above, and have also:
- Experience in transport scheduling, logistics or a similar coordination role
- An understanding of compliance requirements, ideally including fatigue management
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to deal with drivers and customers daily
- A calm, practical approach in a fast-paced operational environment
