The Position

The role is a unique, exciting and challenging opportunity to be directly responsible for business development, sales and after sales service of the full range of Fofia products sold in Australia. The role is focused on growing sales of NLIS Cattle and Management Tags for all species of livestock through a range of channels.

Fofia have several new and innovative products in the pipeline including NLIS Sheep tags and Active Tags for Livestock which will be added to the product range once they are available. 
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Drive sales of Fofia Australia’s range to current and new livestock producers
  • Provide technical advice and sales marketing support to rural retailers
  • Educate/train the end user on the benefits and correct application of the product range
  • Ensure sales targets and market development objectives are achieved in full and within budget
  • Maintain awareness and provide feedback on current and emerging competitor products and market trends
  • Work with Fofia Australia’s external partners and suppliers to ensure excellent customer service and rapid product delivery
The Person
   
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following key skills, experience and attributes:  
  • Proven experience in livestock identification sales or equivalent products sold through rural retailers as well as direct accounts
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets, excellence in customer service and managing key accounts
  • A proven ability to build rapport quickly with customers as well as work cohesively with internal support resources and colleagues
  • Exceptional customer service ethic to ensure all sales opportunities and service levels are maximised
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • A desire to work autonomously while remaining a key team member
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills in word, excel and Teams
  • Qualifications in Agriculture, or a related field will be highly regarded.
